Gorgeous apartment. Easily accessible, lots of restaurants within walking distance (kiosks have better food than the restaurants) .
Quiet and cool in the apartment. Extra linens, fully equipped kitchen. The beach is 2 mins away, but wasn’t swimmable this time of year due to migrating seaweed, not sure how long that lasts.. but a swimmable beach is 10 mins away at Carlisle Bay. Best local food was 4 min walk away at Sand Dollar Cafe.. HIGHLY recommend. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Very good stay, unit is brand new inside, fresh, clean with comfortable furniture and bed. Kitchen had all basics for our stay. Although we were outside most of the time, we had great rest at Glenns place. Balcony is super enjoyable, specially at night. Location is great, close to everything yet peaceful. Hopefully we will have a chance to come back.

Glenn’s place was central to everything, restaurants, beach and a convenience store right underneath the apartment that closes at 10pm. He was proactive in ensuring I had not only a smooth check in but he even provided pictures to ensure I was able to check in with no issues. The balcony provided some nice breeze but a piece of privacy that was a bonus! I’m glad to have spent my time there while visiting friends and family in Barbados 🇧🇧

Massive thank you to Tanya and Glenn. Their new apartment is lovely and well equipped. (The shower is awesome!) Kitchen was filled with nice little touches like plenty tea & coffee.
There was a minor issue with the wifi when I arrived but Glenn had it fixed almost immediately.
The air conditioning and wifi are both of very good quality.
Unfortunately I became really unwell during my stay but Tanya kindly dropped off a care package at the door which was above and beyond anything I was expecting.
I would definitely consider staying with Tanya and Glenn again if I am ever back over in the Caribbean.

We stayed at Just Chillin for just 3 nights. Tanya met us at the apartment and walked us through everything. She also apologised because the other 2 apartments are still being worked on but the reno noise was only in the daytime and we couldn’t really hear it with the AC on anyway.

The apartment is very obviously brand new with nice comfortable furnishings. It has lots of cute touches like instructions with local shells in the frames. The couch and seats on the balcony were extremely comfortable. The sofa in the living room was a little bit soft for my personal taste but perfectly acceptable – we spend most of our time on the balcony anyway. The only thing I would say is if there were six people staying there that you might need to ask for extra chairs – ideally fold away as it is “cozy’ – as there are 4 seats on the balcony and the sofa would fit 3 but is facing away from the balcony although I guess you could pull it round.

There were some extras that you wouldn’t normally find in an AirBnB such as coffee sachets, coffee filters, different types of teas, and there was even some juice in the refrigerator. Plus the Tanya left a nice little welcome gift of some rum punch, some chocolates and a lovely mug as a memento /gift. The bathroom had hand soap, body wash and air freshener – and that shower is the BOMB!

The main bedroom bed was quite high off the ground but I quite like that and it was a very comfortable mattress. The room smelt lovely as there were some scented sticks on the shelf AND personal fave, some books! Be aware that you have to walk through the main bedroom to get to the kitchen, the loft and the bathroom – not necessarily an issue if there’s just 2 of you, One but if someone is staying on the sofa bed, then they will need to walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom during the night. great thing was the USB ports installed directly in the wall above the bedside table so you can charge your phone at night!

The kitchen as well stocked with enough utensils and crockery – there is even a cute smiley face spatula. The fridge has a freezer section for ice which was great, but it means the fridge section is quite small so if more than a couple of people staying there, you might find that you needed a cooler to put your drinks in. We ate out mostly so didn’t need to use the air fryer; we really just had toast and coffee in the morning on the balcony. One other thing that I would recommend is a couple of fabric dishcloths and a roll of kitchen towel.

Note that the loft ceiling is not adult size so it is best for kids; I couldn’t stand up straight– good thing there were only 2 of us so we didn’t need to go up there. I thought the steps up to the loft were very cute but steep and you would have to be careful going up and down them so probably not for very small kids.

The location was great as it was at the quiet end of St Lawrence but close enough that we could walk to Dover beach. We spent our mornings at the beach and then walked to the market area opposite the cricket ground for lunch and beers! A shower later and off to enjoy the nightlife – also within walking distance – a few people did warn us about walking late into the night but with 2 of us, no one really hassled us and we felt safe enough.

Overall I would say that this place would be good for a couple, or a couple with two kids – you could sleep 6 at a push but it would be tight, so only if you are really budgeting. It was very comfortable and in an ideal spot to access the beach and restaurants and bars.

Thanks Tanya and Glenn – we will be back!
